The HAL Scholarship Fund
The Heroes And Legends Scholarship Fund is a 501 C3 organization devoted to helping talented young persons of the community achieve their dreams, and their visions of careers in the performing arts, as well as spotlighting positive role models from many diverse backgrounds.
Each year our scholarship honorees are selected from a diverse group of candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Have earned a consistent grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or better
- Exhibit an extraordinary amount of talent, drive and determination
- Currently attend, or plan to enroll in a performing arts program in a community based facility or institution
- Be a U.S. Citizen between 17 – 26 years of age (Priority given to students who live or will be attending in the Southern California area)
The HAL Scholarship fund awards scholarships for one term (i.e. semester, trimester, quarter, etc) at a community based performing arts institution that relates to their talents.
(Note: Tuition is paid directly to the educational facility.)
HAL hopes that this scholarship will serve as an education extension program and that awardees will one day be placed among tomorrow’s Heroes and Legends of performing arts community.
